NORWAY FOR THE WINTER

DAY 01 : WELCOME TO BERGEN & BERGEN EXPLORATION!

Welcome to Bergen! Upon arrival, our representative will pick you up from the airport for your transfer to the Hotel. In the evening today we explore the best of Bergen in an Introductory Walking Tour. The tour is unique, exciting and a fun experience. Take a ride through historic alleyways, attractions and see the breathtaking views of the city.It is an entertaining 01 hour 30 mins tour of the city! The rest of the day is free. We can choose to visit the highest peak in Bergen if we decide to or engage in some lovely exclusive boutique shopping.

DAY 02 :FJORDCRUISE TO MOSTRAUMEN

After our breakfast today, we head out to Experience fjords,mountains and stunning waterfalls by taking a fjord cruise to Mostraumen from Bergen.On the way from Bergen you will have a good view of the famous Bryggen, the old city of Bergen along with the rest of Bergen’sharbour basin. We sail past several waterfalls, surrounded by steep.Mountains and if you are lucky, we will try to collect a sample of the fresh mountain water for you to taste!There is an abundance of wildlife in the area, and we can often see seals,goats and eagles.

DAY 03 : FLIGHT TO SVOLAER & FREE DAY

We bid adieu to Bergen Today as we leave for the Airport for our Flight to Svolvaer. The Flight chosen departs at 07:40 AM and arrives into the Lofoten town at 11:20 AM.Upon arrival in Svolvaer, our driver will escort and drive us to our Hotel. We have a free afternoon today to discover the town on our own. In the evening today, we get the first glimpse of the Northern Lights! Get the cameras ready and position yourself steady so as to capture that perfect image of Auroras!

DAY 04 : WINTER SEASAFARI

We have a free morning until 11:30 AM Today. At 11:30 we walk up to the starting point of an exciting 02 Hours Discovery cum Safari.In this 02 hour tour, we explore the crystal clear waters surrounding the snow covered hills hoping to find the Sea Eagle in its huntingstate. We cover the Trollfjord, sea eagles, spectacular nature spots,Skjoldvær, Oddvær and Haversand. Return in the afternoon. The rest of the day is free.Later in the evening, we do a short Northern Lights Walking Tour.

DAY 05 : LOFOTEN ISLAND TOUR BY HORSE & LEAVE FOR TROMSO!

In the morning we have scheduled a Horse Tour of Lofoten as we goaround the land via a horse and discover its hotspots and picturesque sights. Later we check out and board the cruise Hurtigruten for our journeyahead to Tromso. Overnight in the Cruise. Room chosen in outside view cabin.

DAY 06 : TROMSO!

In the morning we briefly dock at Risoyhamn, Harstad and Finnsnes. Then we move ahead to arrive in Tromso- The Capital of Arctic! Tromso is often used as the point for Northern Light Adventures. We have an experience ahead.The first is North Norway’s nature at its finest to its Wilderness centre. View magnificent scenery in and around Tromso as you head to the Wilderness center and meet its Happy Huskies (and puppies!)In the evening, we do a AURORA chase with genuine North Norwegian hospitality, warmth and charm. We are picked up in Tromsø and taken by bus on a chase for the magical Northern lights.With good local knowledge we will find the best area for the lights and good scenery for our pictures.If we are within reasonable driving distance from our base camp, wemay visit our lavvu (our modern Sami shelter) and sit around the nice warm bonfire while roasting marshmallows.

DAY 07 : NORTHERN LIGHTS SNOWMOBILE SAFARI

We have a free morning today. We can go ahead and visit the Polaris today. The world’s Northernmost Aquarium.In the evening an exciting night is planned.Experience the wilderness on snowmobiles and experience the Northern Lights! The trail has a distance of 15 km each way, 30 km in total. The starting point is at 250 m above sea level, and the guide brings you up to 875 m. The top point of the trail is a frozen lake,where you can speed up. If time and weather permit, you can try out ice fishing on this lake.

DAY 08 : FLY TO OSLO AND CITY TOUR OF OSLO

Check out of your hotel today as you move ahead for the airport for your flight to Oslo. Upon arrival in Oslo, you will be transferred to your hotel.In the afternoon, leave your hotel for a city tour of Oslo. Roam about its beautiful gardens and discover the city’s amazing architecture and with it engage in a bit of shopping.

DAY 09 : FLY BACK HOME

We hope you have had a lovely stay. It is now time to leave. We will escort you to the airport for your flight back home.We hope the trip has created enough memories to last you a lifetime.
