MLMT wants you to experience wild as seen in this overgrown meadow. MLMT pushes you off the cliff and into a scream. This is a trip you do not want to miss.
Lemurs leap from tree to tree as you go deeper. Baobabs stand taller than any mountains. Rainforests bloom in all directions. Frogs dyed in unforeseen colors. Bugs shaped oddly. Chameleons hide in the hide of the trees. Whales and sharks loiter across the waters. Creation is big and full here in Madagascar. This is lost and found of the earth. You might just find anything here. The cacophony of Madagascar is the sweetest piece of Mozart you will hear. Your eyes can barely take in this wild scape of the earth.
If you shake the world up, you will get Madagascar. It is the land of teleportation. You go from rainforests to deserts in t-minus 0.2 minutes. Very few areas have as much to offer. Madagascar is the ultimate essence of what nature is. Out of nowhere, sandstone canyons and limestone karsts jut into the open. The soil has given Madagascar the rap name of “Red Island” Adrenaline junkies get a different fire in their eyes when they hear of Madagascar. This is the country made for them.

When to visit?
The wild has no timing. You can experience it whenever and however. When you go depends on what you want to see. But if you want a general scope, anytime between December to April works well. If you’re going to look at baby lemurs come into their chaotic existence, then October and November are the right months for you. If you are looking for green scapes and quiet parks, April is a good one. Humpback whales make themselves seen around July to September. This time has been rated one of the best. Lemur watching is an all year activity.
The average cost of a person
This paradise is exceptionally user-friendly. It will accommodate anyone who wants to come out to witness the wild opera. It can range from 3,000 rupees per day. It can reach towards the luxurious end as well. But an average trip to Madagascar will take about 60,000-80,000 rupees from you. Every paisa worth it.
Visa Requirements
The process of acquiring a Visa to enter Madagascar is a relatively standard process. One has to have a passport valid for at least 6 months. You can get a Visa-free of cost for a short stay of fewer than 30 days. Proof of accommodation must also be submitted to get in. There are different types of Visas ranging from tourist to business Visas. For more extended stays, you have a more complicated process. A letter of invitation has to be issued by a company or counterpart in Madagascar.
Where to stay?
Antananarivo:
Very few places are as chaotic and loud and powerful as the capital of Madagascar. Tana, as the city is affectionately called, might seem brash and loud and busy, but that is not all. As you get further away from the town circle, things start getting better for Antananarivo. The home of the Malagasy power for three generations, Tana has a hidden burst of culture and history that you could quest for. You might even run into some unexpected creatures in the wild.
There is an entire arcade to shop and eat. Craft products from all over the country mind themselves here in markets. Haute-Ville is all beautiful buildings from the past and pleasant smiles that will make you smile. If not anything else, Tana is the place that keeps your tummy filled with all the delicious European meals.

Antsirabe:
Are you looking to relax? Because if you are, this city will pull you into its warm embrace and spa the senses out of you. The first thing that you will notice about Antsirabe are the thermal springs. They have now primarily branded the city as a spa city. The late 1800s came with Norwegian missionaries building a health retreat here. And that remains till date. The French then made this place a serene, calm, chic getaway from loud, Tana.
The colonial heritage might be slipping out of its fingers now, but that is not the end of this city. The city has revolved with the industry. Textile, food and even drink industries. The energy in the city catches on to anyone who enters.

Fort Dauphin:
You through miles of spiny forests to reach here. The wild terrains with creatures unheard of. And then at the end of all that ruckus, you arrive here. The small paradise. The area forms a typically hidden paradise as it lies in a peninsula between the sea and the mountains. This mining town is a beautiful recluse of beaches.
The city has sealed doors roads and carried street lights as well. There are a few beautiful sights in the town, but not much more than that. For most people, Fort Dauphin serves as a nice, pretty place to crash for the night. Take a car out to the rest of the beautiful lands around.

Fianarantsoa:
Fianar is a cutesy, smaller, quieter version of Tana. This city is surrounded from all sides with beautiful hills. This is not usually a big tourist spot but has a lot of amazing areas around. People stop by this regional, administrative and commercial center while on their way to Ranomafana, Manakara or Isalo. Anybody looking for a laid-back historic town with a cute shopping center and new spots to stay in can come right to Fianarantsoa.
The city is divided into three parts. The commotion all converges to this portion in the north, known as the Basse-Ville. This is where the post offices and the train stations are at. It gets upgraded a bit in Nouvelle Ville which is a hub of businesses, banks, and hotels. To calm down, come to Haute Ville. Where streets are cobbles, skies are beautiful, and life is good.

Majunga:
Heavy-eyed Majunga is one beautifully calm place to be. The seaside town will be the blanket of tranquillity that you are looking for. Promenades along the seas, lined with palms. Bougainvillea creeping on old walls. Hidden, shady shopping arcades. This sleepyhead of a place is one place you can go to just calm down.
It comes with a suitcase full of culture with its Comoran and Indian populations and relations of the past with Africa. Hence, it is more colorful than any other. Even physically speaking it is an absolute riot of landscapes. Stunning caves dripping with water, massive rock formations, wetlands for the birds and beautiful lakes. It is not the most famous city, but its sure is pretty.

Top Experiences
Whale Sharks
This is the biggest daredevil test of your life. If you pass the whale sharks, then you are something else altogether. The deep waters of Nose Be will reel you towards it. These reefs are some of the only places in the universe where you can swim with the big fish. Go into the depths and see colors like never before.
Caving
When an adventure like this comes up, you are sure to cave. Jump into the first side of things. The caves of Ankara will stun you speechless. Limestone walls hide in them tonnes of ancient fossils. The network of rivers and stalagmites and stalactites are ethereal.
Baobabs
This is what truly makes up the essence of Madagascar. These trees stand out tall and mighty and make the place what it is. The west of the island is the “Avenue of the Baobabs” These trees aged 800 years are a beautiful view to be around. Take a quiet, sunset stroll through the park.
Shaman
For all of those looking for a healing hand, the shaman is where you need to go. Even without the need does go, it is an incredible experience. Go right up to the wooden ladder and into this enlightening glow. They use all sorts of techniques to solve physical and emotional problems. Some of the things they cure are unrequited love and love broken up because of parents.
Travel Smart
Malagasy people aren’t the best at the time. Do not expect everything here to be crisp and on the perfect timelines. They have an expression that goes, “Fotoan-gasy.” It does not mean they are rude they just do not know how to manage the time taken to complete a task. Expect meetings to start late.
We know you want to give those last few bits to the strays. But there is serious offense taken if you do this. There are a lot of hungry children in the poorer regions. So, if you feed a dog while a child is watching you will make the entire community angry. We know it is hard, but some things you just have to follow.
The water here cannot be trusted. This is okay in bigger cities, but in smaller areas, you must boil and filter the water. It is not allowed not ingest this water. They might have supposedly clean drinking water taps, but it is a hoax. The water here is slightly salted and extremely unclean.
Every place comes with a list of said and unsaid taboos. Madagascar has a lot to think about in this manner. It could be forbidden foods, and it could be going to a place without shoes. Even temples and entire towns can have their own taboos. It is a safe bet to talk to the guide before going anywhere.
